Charlie Radclyffe
Charlie served in the Army (2002-2006) as an officer in the Irish Guards, including one tour in Iraq. In 2003, he was seriously injured on adventurous training, leaving him paralysed below the knees. He has 15 years of personal experience regarding claiming a War Pension, including winning two appeals, and now receives a 100% war pension. He has assisted, voluntarily, more than 200 veterans in matters related to pensions, health and the law. Between 2021-2023, he sat on the Advisory and Pensions Committee (VAPC) for South West England. He's previously been a parish councillor and is a trustee of the disability charity Living Options Devon.
He has a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Holistic Science, MA in Environment, Society and Policy, and MBA (Masters in Business Administration). He is grateful to the Open University's Disabled Veterans Scholarship Fund, which enabled him to undertake his MBA between 2019-2024.
